Together, we'll explore three of the city's most iconic markets: Central de Abastos, Benito Juárez Market, and 20 de Noviembre Market. Along the way, you'll enjoy more than 20 traditional Oaxacan foods and drinks, from beloved everyday staples to regional specialties rarely discovered by visitors.

In case the tour doesn’t meet the minimum, the tour will be canceled and you’ll receive a complete refund, or you’ll be offered another experience paying the difference or giving you back the difference, or another day or you will pay the minimum of 4 tickets.
📋 Activity Advisory
- This tour takes place in busy public markets and on active city streets. Due to the nature of the environments we visit, we are unable to accommodate severe food allergies, as cross-contamination and airborne particles may be present. Be mindful with this please.
- Vegetarian guests are welcome. Please note that some foods may be prepared on shared cooking surfaces.
- Menu subject to change depending on availability.
- Prepare for some stairs, it might not be adapted for people with wheelchairs (streets are not adapted for wheelchairs), walking problems and standing issues.
- Transportation to/from meeting point not included. (if due to your walking issues you are tired but you want to meet us in the next market, you’ll pay your taxi).
- You´ll be at markets, crowded streets and public transportation. It is what it is, if you don’t feel comfortable with this. Please don’t come. You won’t have a good time and Hollidays are for having fun, not to struggle.
- Expect crowds, noise, heat, and the lively energy of Oaxaca's most important local markets.
- During holidays, high season or strikes tour can take longer.
- Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and prepare to discover the real Oaxaca—one bite at a time.
- We suggest not making any type of reservation before 3 pm on the day of your tour.
